This workshop suits beginners and those wanting to master the fundamental skills for accurate cutting, measuring and stitching patchwork. Learn the basic skills such as Safe use of and cutting pieces with a rotary cutter, Measuring and cutting with use of a quilting ruler Piecing - Stitching pieces together with 1/4” seams Ironing seams Creating simple blocks and more… Tuition Cost : $135 BYO fabrics, threads, rotary cutter, quilting ruler, sewing machine and other sewing supplies. A requirements list will be available upon enrolment. Lunch can be purchased at local cafes or the bakery across the road or bring lunch from home. Kitchen facilitaties available. Cancellation Policy: $40 of your fee is a non refundable registration fee. Cancellations 4 weeks or more ahead of the workshop will receive refund minus the $40 registration fee. Refunds are not available if cancelling less that 4 weeks prior to the workshop. Disclaimer: In this workshop you will be handling rotary cutters, needles and machines that carry some potential of injury if not handled correctly. Whilst every care will be taken to ensure you are guided to use these in a safe manner you will be responsible at all times for your own safety. If you injure yourself as a result of your misuse of equipment you will be responsible for this. Please acknowledge that you understand and accept responsibility for your own safety and safe handling of the tools you will be using.
